Shreveport’s 2021 Film Prize winner Mark Bonner was featured in a Shreveport Times article that made it to Yahoo Sports this week. Bonner has a history of being a great story teller from writing story series in school that would be released each week like tv shows for his classmates to read and enjoy.

“Bonner's debut film "Shreveport Son" had elements of late 90's and early 2000's cinema with a nostalgic feel to it.”

The movie has been featured at theaters as far as Toronto, Canada and was recently announced as a selection in the Rhode Island Film Festival.
