Learn how we supported $3 million in revenue for the City of Shreveport in one weekend through organizing a flurry of supporting events and partnering with marketing professionals to create a buzz.
The City of Shreveport hosted the historic football rivalry between Grambling State University and Southern University in April 2021. The Port City Fest was a one-time opportunity for Shreveport to welcome a brand new group of visitors to the city and make a lasting impression. Shreveport entrusted the event production, organization, and marketing services of The Social Circle of Louisiana for all events surrounding the game to extend a warm welcome to visitors of the city. Our team worked with several community entities to provide event planning and production as well as additional marketing and advertising services to offer an unforgettable experience for the city of Shreveport. Partnering with several community organizations, this collection of events included Party on the Red, The Black Business Expo, and the Mayor's Golf Invitational Tournament which shaped an exciting collection of exceptional events that catered strategically to the target audience.
