We're highlighting a brand we've learned so much about and love what they represent! Du Nord Social Spirits is America's first legal Black-owned distillery based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With products like "Prominence Gin" with hints of juniper and "Mixed Blood Whiskey" (that won Double-Gold in the 2022 New York International Spirits Competition), they offer a carefully made and attractive product line. Du Nord's founders, Chris and Shanelle Montana and the Du Nord team, also built the Du Nord Foundation to focus on economic justice in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. The foundation provides immediate relief and long-term investing for entrepreneurs and business leaders of color. Plus, of course, we love anything "social," so when this "Social Spirits" brand communicates its values like, "Alone, we are strong. Together we are magical." - the energy is on-point.

Louisiana.
On September 9, Dr. Marcus Jones will become the 20th president of Northwestern State University and the first African American to hold the title. The 2022 Shreveport Classic game between Northwestern and Grambling State University will be held on Saturday, September 10. These two North Louisiana institutions will be officially headed by Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. members, with GSU President Rick Gallot, Esq. leading #GramFam. The game is going to be a celebration of North Louisiana culture and diversity. The Shreveport Classic has been an annual mainstay in the city, but the last time it was played was in 2016. We hope to see Shreveport join the Grambling and Northwestern fans and alumni to have a great time together!

So… here’s the fun part. Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11, will be filled with luxury, culture, and style. Not only will we be attending the game, but we’re also going to have a great time all weekend long! Check out the details on all of our upcoming events!
The City by the River Classic Pregame Celebration The Social Circle is doing something different this time! We are taking over the brand new Club Phoenix and providing our usual: a high-end event with Luxury, Culture and Style. This will be a great event for fans to kick off a weekend of football with Live Music by Alter Ego and 3 great DJs!
The Social Circle is teaming up with Du Nord Social Spirits to bring you an exclusive tailgating event with our favorite DJs and custom cocktails before the Grambling State University vs. Northwestern State University game.
The '90s was a time of great music and films. The culture was at an all-time high with timeless tv shows and music! You had to be there takes us back to those songs, those shows, and that feeling.
